Drops of snow

I decided to retake the planned snowdrop photo which got elbowed out by the blackout last night.

Through most of the day the “snow” has fallen as a light dusting of tiny hail pellets. Despite that the snowdrops bloom. Apparently, according to the radio, snowdrops have their own in built antifreeeze.

They will need it tonight as a good few centimetres of “proper snow”have fallen.
