Hoarding

On the way to the bank this afternoon I caught a glimpse along a side street of progress on the new Libeskind Theatre on Grand Canal Square and promised myself I'd go back when my business was finished and have a look.

It was damp and blowy and not very pleasant, but I took a bit of a stroll anyway. Things have certainly come on since the last time I was in the Square. The bulk of the theatre (it's very bulky!) was really evident, and it's got to the stage where it gives a rough idea at least of how the finished building will fit into the urban space. I took a few shots of work in progress, but it was actually the hoarding which took my photographic fancy.
