Quod oculus meus videt

Grass and Snow

Despite frequent flurries of light snow across the day it didn't really stick and we even had some sunshine (I couldn't call it warm!), on occasion.

I had to make a visit out to a site where an outbreak had occurred last week. Still frustrated by the information that percolates down to me, what I thought was a small outbreak changed as I questioned the representatives of the firm.  It was though they had something to hide!  In the end the face to face visit broke down some of the reticence to share information and I was able to give them a number of recommendations to tighten up on their Covid controls.  The pity is that despite all the effort from the company, it can still be easily let down by poor behaviours amongst their staff.  They have had to discipline staff for breaching their Covid rules and even as I walked around there were examples of the lack of thought on some people's part.

As I got home it was quickly back into the house and out of the biting cold wind.  I did pop out again, but only to get this worm's eye view fo the snow on the front lawn.
