Summit of Allermuir

the snow showers have returned, but as it is still above 0, it melts. The cats are impressed, and don't spend much time outside.

The DVD on the main computer had also stopped working, so a new one is due to arrive today. Then I can start to plan rebuilding the computer.

A cold afternoon walk to Swanston. The snow is becoming a bit more persistent and is taking longer to melt. There has been snow loss on the Pentland Hills, there's still a lot on the top of Allermuir Hill. Blip, best viewed large, shows there are a few hardy walkers braving the occasional whiteouts. Not  that there are any views. But it is nice to get out, and for me, sticking to the lower paths, not to have to use icegrippers on the boots.
