Monday: Sarcococca "Sweet Box"

Very cold all day, temperature around 2°C but feeling a lot colder with the bitter easterly wind.
Filled the bird feeders twice, their water saucer was frozen so knocked the ice out and filled with fresh clean water.
Made a big pan of lentil and veggie soup adding a handful of fresh kale leaves - Cavollo Nero today, black Italian kale.
MrD on deliveries and glad of hot soup on a freezing cold day.
Trying to snow at dusk ... still snowing late evening ...
Today's Blip of a plant which flowers in Winter, hope it warms up so the bees can find it!
