Lilly

I am not normally a fan of flash photography, however I do realise its usefulness on occasions where there is no natural light or when a supplementary source is needed so yesterday I bought a Speedlight for the Nikon.

As is the norm these days it came with a 100 page (largely incomprehensible) user manual so part of today was spent trying to figure out how the thing works.

Not many usable pictures were achieved but I did manage this shot of a Lilly flower taken in bounce flash mode.
