West is Best!

I can't tell you how strong and cold the wind was on Sale Fell today!

You never conquer a mountain, but today we felt we did!!!

On the way down we found shelter behind a wall to enjoy our peanut butter and banana sandwiches & flask of tea...

No snow for us in West Cumbria, but the Beast from the East wind was SO cold and strong today on the top of the fells!
