Oh dear...

As I've another full day, tutoring again this evening, I popped out this afternoon to see if I capture something in the winter sun. I heard the unmistakable sound of someone falling, and a lovely lady called Betty had managed to injure herself. So it was 999, and standing up on the main road to point the ambulance in the right direction.
Betty will have quite a black eye tomorrow, but otherwise is fine. As it happens the paramedics ended up treating another casualty while they were here.
Betty was a little disappointed, though. She would have preferred to have had a couple of young men treat her, and the paramedics were both women!
