Sun Worshipping

Even bouquetins do it! First there were two females on this sunny outcrop, then the young male arrived, taking the best spot of course. In the next 5 minutes he was joined by 5 females and a youngster. He is not the dominant male of the herd, his horns are too short. Probably “ Mr. Dominant” is in the extra, taking it relatively easy now he has done his job and he just has to survive the winter. What a chilly, but unexpectedly beautiful morning it was, with a north wind blowing. No wonder the bouquetin were seeking the sun.
