Marital bliss

For today’s Mono Monday theme of romance with thanks to Carolina for hosting this month.

Mandarin ducks symbolise marital happiness, love and faithfulness in Chinese tradition, because these fowl are known to stay together for life. The bauble behind them has the Chinese character for'double happiness'  囍 which symbolises marriage and which to me always seems to be two people holding hands under one roof.
