Gentrified

A long walk through the park and up and down Victoria Road. The area is changing quickly.

People's social lives currently involve meeting a friend for a takeaway coffee and a walk outdoors. Which has created a mini recovery at the top end of Victoria Road, near the entrance to Queens Park.

Three new coffee shops, a small deli, a taco place and my blip shows the next occupant of a previously empty store.

We walked all the way down to the other end of the road, more as it's been in recent years, fruit shops, lawyers, delicious Asian sweets.

Be interesting to see if it can keep its character but be more economically vibrant too. The mix everyone is looking for.
