Lunch Spot, Clutha River
Today the walking group parked at the DOC Car park in Kane Road, and walked from there towards Albert Town. The beginning of the track was a bit rough (extra 1), but the rest of the track was very nice indeed. (Extra 2) The third extra is of the group walking along the ridge above the river. (In the distance). I walked a total of just over 13,000 steps, or just over 8 k.s. There was a nice cloud cover on the way back, so not too hot. +23C.
We had a welcome cuppa at a local cafe on the way home. All in all another lovely walk with the Wanaka Walkers. 17 there today.
