If you go down to the woods today..

Dentist in Lochinver today, only 26 miles (when I first needed emergency treatment two years ago, it was Helmsdale and 85 miles, each way!!) Now crowning a tooth that was previously root filled.

Walk after in Culag woods. There are walks, primarily for children, but very enjoyable. There are paths leading everywhere, a beach, a viewpoint, a scary path (if you're brave enough). Lovely to walk round on a cold damp today, wouldn't like to do it when the midges are about though.. There are big spiders hanging in trees with rope webs, and 8 foot slugs slithering along a fallen trunk. There's a nest, with a 15" diameter egg in, more like something from the X-files..

Then there's this willow wigwam, and an igloo also in willow. There are notices scattered through the woods, a mighty nature trail..
