Ready gives us somewhere to go when we have to stay where we are - Mason Cooley
These Lillian Beckwith books are some of my favourites. They are loosely based autobiographies of her time living on the Isle of Skye in the 1940’s.
Unlike now, there was no bridge, not even a regular ferry service. She did make herself unpopular by not disguising some of the more colourful characters too well and ended up moving to the Isle of Man!
Today being Sunday, we attended church virtually and also watched Music & the Spoken Word.
I’ve worked on a little genealogy, gone through all the DVD & BlueRays in the chest and packed away the Swarovski Crystal pieces in preparation of living room window replacement.
Hope you can find a good book to get lost in.
Stay home if you can and take care of yourself and each other xx
