Snow flurries
We have icy snow flurries all day, the wind was whipping the snow around and it did not settle. It has been so cold too - the morning walk was not very pleasant in these conditions. There were patches of snow settled in some areas, I liked how it was clinging on to the mossy trunk of this tree.
Xena's eye seems a bit better, we are continuing to put the ointment in her eye which is not easy but we manage to apply it. She has a vet's appointment tomorrow which I am hoping I will be able to cancel, we will see how she is in the morning.
It has been a stay at home day, the weather was far to horrible to be outside. I made a Thai salmon dish for lunch, from Mary Berry's new recipe book and it was delicious.
I am enjoying the Danish series on BBC2 called The investigation. Fascinating how they use dogs trained to sniff out a cadaver dumped at sea, a dog really has the most incredible sense of smell.
Tonight and tomorrow morning we have 'heavy' snow forecast - let's hope that I don't have to go to the vet tomorrow as I don't like driving in those conditions.
