Snowdrop surprise

While bending down to photograph a clump of snowdrops in the garden this morning, I remembered a blip by Stiffknees earlier in the week which showed the inside of a snowdrop, so I picked one and brought it inside to have a closer look.

Although the result is quite different, I am still amazed at the intricate detail on such a tiny flower! Yet another of Nature's wonders :-)
