breakfast for one

As I was walking Laney through the woods this morning, I heard a strange clicking noise. Wondering what kind of bird would be making that sound, I searched until I found this Red-tailed Hawk, with a rabbit under its talons, facing off with a Magpie. I'm still not sure which bird was doing the clicking, but I do know that the Magpie left the Hawk to eat its breakfast in peace.
