3rd Birthday breakfast this morning!

It’s Stephen’s birthday tomorrow.
But the family were leaving this morning to go home, having been here for 11 days.
So at 7.30am we had the 3rd birthday breakfast! Croissants, Pain au Chocolat, Coffee, presents and cards.
Then the packing up and clearing began. It’s like watching a small army on the move!
I have attempted a panorama shot of the loft bedroom where the three oldest sleep. The chimney flue is in the middle. They love that room.
Sammy made a rainbow poster for Grandad Stephen.
It reads
Grandad
Rainbow
SunBDay. (Sunday Birthday)
Seventy
-Minus1 (As he will be 69)
Number1
Grandad.

Photo in extras.
I made lunch early so they were on the road by 1.20pm.
I am always relieved that the precious cargo has arrived home again after their 1hr 35 minute journey back down the M5.
Another of our friends called at 2.00pm for a doorstep chat and she brought some beautiful flowers, cards and chocolates (yum!) for both our birthdays.
It now feels very quiet here.
If the schools remain closed after 4 weeks, they are coming back here again.
In the meantime, time for rest and recuperation.
