Late

I’m late with dinner this evening as I’ve been exercising on the indoor bike ( watching YouTube) then gardening. It’s a pleasant evening so too nice to be inside cooking. This is a hydrangea that isn’t in the best position as it gets afternoon hot sun. I have a tree next to it which is growing well and should be perfect in a year or two. I’m trying to plan the garden for the future. One is growing hardy plants that don’t mind our frosty winters and hot dry summers. We have a lot of high hedges so I’m thinking of replacing them with lower varieties that don’t need a ladder to keep in check. Still planning but I’ve done an hour more than yesterday. Off loaded all my pots of strawberries to Bryan along with two other pots. Pots are too hard to maintain and are a problem when ( if) we go away. I’m too good at propagation and always have too much success.

I went to visit Bryan, Kristy and the boys. They use me like a climbing frame. So sweet when you feel a little person worming his way into your knee.
