Along the Levee (2)
Here's Carlos, with a leopard shark.
I went for a walk along my favorite levee to celebrate the end of duck-hunting season. (Though who knew, regular duck-hunting ended last weekend, but today was an extra day when only kids are allowed to hunt!)
There were too few clouds, too much wind, and too much water for it to be really interesting at the salt-pond, but there's always something happening. Carlos had just landed his leopard shark after an almighty struggle. He released this one (it wasn't happy about having the hook removed) because he already had a similar one. He did pose with that, but with the head off it was a little too gory for regular blip, I thought. Then he rode off on his bike with his rod, and his shark for supper. (Extras)
