Motatapu Valley

Today we checked out a walk we have done many times before.  The 119 steep steps down to the river were very overgrown as was the path beyond them.  In extra is a closer view of that rock stack to be seen in the main pic half way down the ridge on the right of the photo.  The Newcastle Track from Kane Road is planned for tomorrow’s walk.  
A great ukulele session at our place this afternoon with quite a few players back on deck, and especially ‘J’.
