Saturday: Overgrown

Right opposite our accommodation is ‘Shanzee’s Biscuit Café’ - we went over for breakfast and it was absolutely fantastic.  I had southern fried chicken with jalapeños on biscuits, with a side order of fries.  It lasted me pretty much all day, unsurprisingly.  

Following that we walked down to do something we have wanted to do ever since we first started coming to Victoria.  We went to ‘Miniature World’!! It was fantastic - we loved it.  There were over 60 exhibits and displays including ‘Camelot’, ‘Ye Olde London Town’, the Canadian Railway etc - see extras to get a sense of it.

Weather was glorious so we also really enjoyed walking along the waterfront.  Drinks at ‘Whistle Buoy’ and ‘The Drake’ with an excellent Chinese mean in between.
