A helping hand

I love photographing portraits, but don't often find willing subjects. Most people dislike having their photograph taken and then on seeing the photograph dislike it even more!

This morning I met a friend for coffee, and she was a willing subject (although rather embarassed at being photographed in the middle of the coffee shop - who can blame her?) So, a quick portrait without time to fuss about lighting, the pose etc. Actually, rather than being a willing subject she was willing to help me out, as I explained I wanted a portrait for today's blip.
