Monk Puja

I was invited to morning puja at the monks school we have been doing some teaching at, and I was allowed to use my camera :-) (this is normally not possible).

So I crawled out of bed at 5.45 and walked up to the school. The guys were already in full swing, chanting and rocking away. It was beautiful, more melodic than other chanting I have heard and then they got the conch shells out and started blowing (along with the cymbals and horns). I like it.

I then had breakfast with Lama Tashi, which was nice and then it was off to work for more effort and stress. One day to go....
