High Waterlevels

This time of the year the levels of water run high in our rivers and they flood some riverbanks; fortunately the dykes that contain them are high enough to keep the waters in the riverbeds. 

I took a ride to Tiel, a city on the river Waal, what's close to 's Hertogenbosch, the city of painter Hieronymus Bosch. I got there today, as the meteo warned us for severe Winter conditions from Saturday onwards for the full week coming.... so to my Dutch Blipfriends I'd like to say 'Stay warm and enjoy this one week of Winter in Holland'
