A tag a week
Mum is taking part in an embroidery challenge this year. You produce one embroidered tag a week. The tutor sets the subject and gives ideas. Then it is down to the embroiderers to chose how to interpret the subject.
If you want to know more go to Anne Brooke textile artist. She is a good tutor and Mum is enjoying the sessions.
Julie is doing her own version.
My blip shows the January tags. All White, Hearts, Scrappy, Fly Stitch, Kisses.
It's been another very wet day and colder. I went to the shop but that was all.
This afternoon there was an excellent RPS presentation by Robert Canis, a wildlife photographer who mainly shoots quite close to his home in Kent. He is such an enthusiast and explained his thinking and his techniques very well.
News today - there is to be another NHS reorganisation. I'm old enough to remember several. They always cause chaos and take ages to settle down. Before they have truly settled, another reorganisation comes along. Big sigh.
