Wood

This pile of wood sits beside our pond. The wood is from one of the first trees that we removed when it began to weaken. We have seen lots of insects, little mice and the feral cat Smelly Sid coming and going over the years. So we know it is providing shelters for some. Yes it is slowly rotting away but that makes it interesting to look at. And whoever is living there will always have the protection of its own lucky horseshoe which we found nearby.
