Misty morning

I didn’t sleep in too long today. It was cold and misty when I got up but it cleared soon enough to be a beautiful day. I had a zoom call with some of the school Mum’s which was great and we compared notes on how the online lessons were working out . After that my husband and I headed into the village to pick up our order form the butchers and sweet shop (for Valentines). After lunch I went out and did some jobs tidying up the back garden. It was long overdue and took longer than I expected but it was lovely to be out in the sun and listening to the birds and it looks good now. The robin came down to see what he could find where I had raked up the leaves.

I needed to collect a John Lewis package from Waitrose so I arranged to meet a friend there so we could have a stroll and catch up round town. I picked up a few treats for dinner and then headed home. There’s snow in the forecast again for tonight/ tomorrow. Stay safe everyone x
