Above Arrochar

I was totally spoilt for choice today - frogspawn, gorse flowers, sun filtering through the conifers... In the end I reverted to my favourite style of photography.

This photo shows a less familiar outline of Ben Lomond, viewed from the Cobbler on Loch Long.

The pass between the hills, through which Ben Lomond can be seen, is where the Vikings reputedly dragged their longships 750 years ago, and will be the scene of a major community archaeology project this summer. Watch this space.
