It All Adds Up

It’s been a very grey, wet day with the exception of a bright burst of sunshine this morning while it was still raining. This resulted in a beautiful double rainbow. D and I scrambled for our phones and raced each other to the front door. He unfortunately won the race for a blip as he was prepared to go out without a coat on in the rain whereas I tried to take a few shots from inside the house.
I spent most of the morning making a maths video for next week. Luckily I never throw anything away so was able to send D up in the loft to fetch Poppy’s old lego down for me.The premise is that these 10 people live in a street with 2 houses. How many different ways can you sort the 10 people between the 2 houses? It’s a strange street inhabited mainly by ponytailed girls, a couple of policemen and a stormtrooper but I’m sure it’ll appeal to the average 5 year old.
