2021-02-02 (Day 033) Night Sky
I was out for a run this evening, and as I turned the corner into a local housing estate I was amazed by the brightness and colours I saw.
The night was pretty misty, and so the light from the flares of Grangemouth was diffused to give an otherworldly orange glow to the entire scene. The blues of the roadsign and the decorative lights, the red of the car and the greens of the shrubbery are all caught by Apple's night mode in a way that makes the whole place look vaguely unrealistic. Additionally, the difference in types of streetlighting have made the camera's job of choosing a colour balance really difficult, causing some of the distant areas to be lit in a way that is far more orange than it was in real life!
