Flock of forty finches feeding

Our back garden is very lively and noisy with a mixed flock of around forty finches demolishing the feeder.  It's a bit distracting when you're trying to work but they're wonderful to have visiting. I'm making them finish off most of the feeder and clean up the floor before I top it up tomorrow (when the cold weather hits) so there's a few scraps going on for the 4 out of 10 places with food left in them!  

I took a walking break today but Rich didn't have much of an outing as Little Dog refused to walk very far in the wet. I don't think he'll have done much encouragement either! Pretty grim out there today.
