The clearest day

We have been for the allotted time of exercise around the cliffs, the visibility was so very clear. We could see all the islands clearly and even the French coast behind Herm island. We could see the lighthouse which sits at the entrance to the harbour of St Peter Port with the castle next to it. The gorse was beginning to bloom and we saw celandines waving gently in the sun.
Izzy and Tilly together with their mum went to have a picnic lunch out on the cliffs near the lighthouse we blipped the other day. It was very warm and both girls were wearing tee shirts. I think that they were making the most of it before the promised cold from the east arrives here.
Extra of Sark with a hat of clouds above. It was taken from the field above Marble Bay.
