Still flooded

This morning we drove to Caversham and then walked into Reading. The playing field have become a new lake for the swans   I had to go into Reading to change a jumper I brought from M& S yesterday. It was a nice walk. On the way back we got a coffee and sat in the Forbury Garden. Got home about 11.45am. Today was another hospital visit for my mum.  After dropping her off we were going to go and sit by the river to eat our lunch. But the heavens open. So we sat in the car in Waitrose car park   Then we went and done mums shopping. Got a phone call from the hospital to say mum was ready but the Dr wanted a word with me. It was all good news. He said mum was doing well and she doesn’t need to come back. But the District Nurses are still going to see her. So some good news.  Finally got home at 5.30pm.
