A bird in the hand

Had a nice long walk along the river and canal and picked up a takeaway coffee. Made bread and a tiramisu trifle in the afternoon and then spent some time sat on my desk watching the birds in the garden. It’s like having a hide sat quietly with the velux open looking down at them. Unfortunately nothing exciting, but a number of blackbirds chasing each other round.
Made a chilli for dinner, and trifle was lovely. Two deliveries were due today but not turned up.
