Back to basics

Went out to deliver some yarn and walk the dog, via the PO to pay in a cheque. I took a photo of a VR post box that I have had as an idea for an easy back up blip, but when we got home there was a big hole at the end of our road, and we had no electric! 

It was quite nice sat in the dark with candles and the log burner lit for a short while, but very thankful when it all came back on.

A temporary repair and a permanent fix will mean further power cuts in the near future, hopefully during the day!
