Today a 14 km skiing trek around the fells. This shot is extremely interesting as it shows to the right two persons approaching a section where they (or another pair) about two hours afterwards caused a 1 km wide and 500 m long avalanche. As it was unclear whether anyone had been caught in it a massive rescue operation was started. It turned out that only two pairs of people had been on the section today, and both pairs reported to the officials afterwards. So no victims :-)

Another piece of good news is that my mum was clearly more active than during the past weeks when I had a video chat with her :-))
