Duddingston Loch

Fridays is our trip day and we are normally in The Pentland Hills, but not today.  We decided instead to go for a wander in Duddingston looking at Dr Neil's Garden, and the community gardens-also taking in the loch.
We had beautiful views across Duddingston Loch with The Pentlands in the background.  There were many geese, swans and ducks sploshing in the mud,and paddling around.
The jackdaws at Dr Neil's Garden were checking out the nesting spot which they used last year-see extra.  All very satisfying.
