The scars of war

One of my lovely colleagues has redeployed to adult ICU, she sent this photo after she’d removed her fit tested mask at the end of the day. The positive thing is that the tighter the mask fits the more protection you have. Most of the staff I know have had skin problems through wearing masks, even the surgical masks leave your face sweaty and itchy after 12 hours of wearing them continuously but it needs to be done!
