Like Minds

This morning I sent my older daughter (B) an e-ticket to this Guardian Live event so that we could watch it together after work, and ordered her the corresponding book. While I was doing that an Amazon package dropped through the letterbox - surprising me with a book from her! Great minds think alike or it could be that we are both well overdue a bit of shared time (which usually involves books, history or the study of culture - one sort or another). 

We both enjoyed the event and our conversation afterwards and I am looking forward to reading 'Invisible Women' by Caroline Criado Perez "exposing data bias in a world designed for men". Apparently the chapter about toilets is particularly thought provoking. I am intrigued.
