Wedding Ritals

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

One of my Indian colleagues recently married. We were chatting about the food and he told me that on their wedding day, the bride and groom have to fast until after the ceremony as they have to have their first meal of the day as newlyweds.

Which all sounds very lovely except the ceremony didn’t finish until 23:45!

I can’t even skip breakfast. I would have been more excited about being fed than being married by that time!
