40mm ish = 51mm 2 inch *

Been raining recently and today topped it with 51 mm. The garden burn was at the highest I've ever seen and higher than I've expected to ever see it.
In fact at about midday it was washing over the brick arch bridge.
Roads were awash and fields like lakes, but managed to get to town and back safely.
