Pull the other one ....

Another dreich day .
Spent the morning next door clipping and worming the bulling heifers that we housed on Monday.
The fuel tanker that was delivering kero to the hill shepherd’s house went off the track in the snow and got stuck. Was going to pull him out with a tractor, but he had already called for this tow truck to come to the rescue. Just as well as I couldn’t see any safe place to attach a chain to the tanker , plus seemingly I wouldn’t be insured if anything got damaged.
What ever happened to lorries having heavy duty towing rings on them ?
After reversing the mile up the track and an hour later , both lorries we’re back on the main road and away.
Sleet turned to rain now. I think more snow is forecast though. The wind picking up too , so should be fun.
