Good kids, good goodbye

They exasperate me on a daily basis, but today they were brilliant. Silent and still during the crem service, and then pretty good during the church one too (I did let them sit and draw on the floor - but were quiet and well behaved!). Thank goodness! Wasn’t sure how they’d be.

The whole funeral and thanksgiving service went really well I thought, people spoke well, lovely memories shared, good gyms, and generally a good family send off (plus a few friends at the church, and apparently loads lining the road at various points along their route from Muriel’s to the crem.) Then a zoom wake this evening. They are strange times right now - but thought it was organised really well despite all that!
