Barrier

Went to get my mother from hospital today. She had a fall and they have been trying to discharge her for 3 weeks but each time she was exposed to a covid sufferer. I went up to Ebbw Vale today to get her with her clear covid test and vaccination certificate. Had to wait a bit as the vaccination team were there but the vaccine was late. Enjoying my Tesco Meal Deal in the car park when I realised that daylight was running out and I needed a Blip. Plus it was chucking it down so the end result is sub-optimal.
My mother is happy to be home, but after 5 weeks in hospital, hardly surprising. She "celebrated" her 95th birthday in hospital so we will have to have a small party.
