Swirling fog

There has been swirling fog and mist around all day with brief moments of sunshine. From one side of a field to another the light change from thick dark fog to light mist and milky sunshine. It has been possible watch mist creep across the landscape and engulf the trees. The image I have chosen to blip was taken just after dawn when the freezing fog lifted from the fields that our house backs onto for the first time and for a short period.
Pilates followed by a Zoom coffee with Chris whilst we put the world to rights. Two thoughts from our discussions. It is time, as a country, that we think through why our children and young people have for several decades had deteriorating mental and well-being rather than simply calling for more mental health services. Secondly, there is an opportunity with the pandemic to stimulate children's curiosity and love of learning rather than concerning ourselves on them 'falling behind' (whatever that might mean.)
The other news of the day that I have booked my appointments for both my first and second Covid vaccine shots. Yet anther benefit of being old.
