Bird of paradise

The bird of paradise plant in our bedroom has started flowering. Only one head for now but we should get a few more soon on this plant and hopefully on the one we left outside covered with fleece.
The daffodils on the balcony are coming up but will only flower in a few weeks.
Spring is on its way ...
