How it started.
I bought this camera in 1983 from London Camera Exchange on the Strand, London. I wanted an OM1 Olympus but couldn’t afford it (student). So it was thus it a Zenit E. actually I couldn’t afford this one but it didn’t stop me. I dabbled for a while but film and processing costs were steep (more than beer!). The through the lens metering went and I put the camera in a cupboard. Over the years I have had various point and press digital cameras but as I am nearing retirement I decided to buy a new camera. I now have a DSLR purchased online from, coincidentally, the London Camera Exchange.
Accidental symmetry in life.
