The cat's whiskers
Yet another day of strong winds from the north-east, which is a bad direction for us, coming across a lot of open ground from a range of small hills and hitting the corner of the house. Potted plants are getting knocked over and de-potted, leaves are piling up around the front door like some kind of sculpture - and it's raining! I haven't been out, largely because of the dodgy eye, so today's Blip has to be of Rosie who spends most of the day either asleep or waiting to be fed! She's getting rather grumpy in her old age - I wonder where that comes from!
Limerick of the Day:
An old carpet maker from Persia
Was determined to fly off to Mercia.
This he sought to achieve
With a very light weave
But could not overcome the inertia.
