Dive!

I don't know what this black-headed gull had seen in the Kent channel this morning but it certainly went for it.

Thanks for the birthday wishes yesterday.  It is always a bittersweet day for me as it was on my birthday back in 1977 that my climbing partner Chris was killed by an avalanche in South Castle Gulley on Ben Nevis.
